Joe, By history books I mean biographies, or federalist papers, or books about various wars, etc. I want to be learning when I read. Now I do watch a lot of television shows that are comedies or dramas. However, when I read I want to learn. I guess I read history because what I was taught in school is not necessarily the true version of history. I remember that a lot of history showed the USA as a great country that didn't make mistakes. One of the things we were never taught about Japan bombing Pearl Harbor is that that we had a blockade on them so that they couldn't have access to resources such as oil as a response for them invading China. I never learned that in school.
