Get a background pic that size off the net

Click the green tab on  unused Scuba Diver #19.
CTRL-V it into Notepad++.
It will be on one line.
Hit CLEAVE macro.
Hit word wrap.
Pick language HTML.
Backgroung image is on line 28.
Swap it with the hosted location.

Watch not to delete apostrophes.

Change name. Add your initials.

Save to desktop for next change.

Copy updated code with CTRL-A, CTRL-C.
Paste into 40S5 in normal way.
Done

GAME BACKGROUND IMAGE SIZES:

OK, my friends, I'm coherent for the moment, so let's get this done!

If you want to use various background images in Kini and Scuba,
you have to adjust the <td>, <img>, and <table> width and height
sizes. No height for <table>. It stretches on content size.

You already know you also need to change the name, and put your
initials in so we know who did the deed. 

OK, I set it up for 6 columns and 8 rows, thus your image width
has to be divisible by 6 and height by 8.
The TD and IMAGE H&W are IMAGE WIDTH/6 and IMAGE HEIGHT/8.
The TABLE WIDTH has to be IMAGE WIDTH + 2xBORDER WIDTH.
Border width is currently 5px for both KINI and SCUBA.

Blocker sizes can remain phyically about 120w x 120h px or whatever
in the image host.
TD and blocker sizes in code must suit the hole they have to fill.

Let's say you want 6 columns and ten rows, and pic is 534w x 800h px.

TABLE width is 534 + 5 + 5 = 544px
TD and IMG widths = 534/6 = 89px
TD and IMG heights = 800/10 = 80px.
BUT ... you have to add whatever is between <TR> and </TR> twice
in the middle between the <TBODY></TBODY> pair, (IE) 8+2=10.

OK so all is mathematical and logical.


In Notepad++ use CTRL-H to CHANGE-ALL this crap in one fell swoop
for TD and blocker IMG heights and widths.
Go manually in there for one table width.
Save the various sizes in desktop working folder for future,
then just change bkg image later.

PS: Change all https to httpx with CTRL-H, then restore the bkg one. Then run in Firefox.

This will show bkg image without any blockers. Save as test, or delete it.
