Since there were no clearly defined rules except that the bottom row was 0. No where in the rules did it say your count gets cancelled. I rolled a three got blown up on my second move. I figured logically that I had 1 move left. Therefore, since the bottom row was 0 I then could use my leftover 1 from the three and place myself on the second row which is one. 

If that was a rule it should have been stated in the rules. I always follow the rules but this, in my opinion, was left open to interpretation.

Anyway... I ruled a three again now and only moved two. Hopefully that satisfies the new rule! LOL
