Freezing rain has hopefully ended.   I think it is the worst of all winter conditions.  We have lots of trees down and power outages all over the state.  My neighborhood lucked out.  We didn't get the heavy rain that some areas did, and we didn't lose power.  I don't see a lot of tree damage either.  We had very steady, light rain, so it did not build up heavily enough to cause so much damage in my area.  I'm very happy we did not lose power.   I'm covered so far as power outage, because I have my generator, but everybody isn't.  It is a great feeling to know I have instant back up power.

I'm glad you didn't lose power, Foxy, and also glad the freezing rain seems to have moved out of your area.  It's been cold, dreary, and rainy here all day.  Moderate to heavy rain hasn't stopped at all.  So far, I haven't seen any snowflakes or freezing rain, but it's still a possibility for tonight.
