Date Posted:10/23/2022 4:06 PMCopy HTML BLANK.DAT is a Notepad empty file, so I can put any text in and save locally. Otherwise I have to include the path (click, click, click, oops, back, click .. ad nausium) if I open Notepad directly, or go and find where Notepad put it otherwise. Always save under a new name, and BLANK.DAT or BLANK.TXT will be there next time you need it. I have my DAT (data) files opened automatically by Notepad. CONCEIVE, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE!

Re:Handy Notepad Blank.txt Date Posted:10/23/2022 4:10 PMCopy HTML Ever type a long reply ... and the power goes off before you post, or your post takes a trip to Neverland ... POOF! @#$% Do it on your desktop, save, save, save, and resume. Then copy to post. You can delete it after posting, or keep it if it will be used again. Make a folder someplace to keep stuff in, "HOLD" or whatever. Make a copy in your current folder. The original will be waiting on your desktop for when you FORGET to CHANGE THE NAME. |
