Re:Hospital Christmas Party ~ 12/11/2010 Date Posted:12/14/2010 5:46 PMCopy HTML ![]() Thanks, Janner, ya nut! Kay, she was being very difficult that day; she didn't want to do anything I asked (prior to the party, that is). I asked her if she wanted to bathe and she said "NO". lol I finally went and got her from the living room and practically dragged her to the bathroom. She was in tears by this time. I don't know what was wrong ~ but felt her forehead and it was warmish and I gave her some Children's Tylenol. I bathed and dried her and then told her that she needed to get 'dressed' to go to a party. She fought wearing anything but what she had brought with her... but finally gave in. lol When I zipped up the dress and tied the bow in back she kept saying, "Cinderella, Cincerella". OMG, she was so funny. She kept swawing and twirling around too. She'd pull the dress up from the sides just like Cinderella. Bill was in heaven, of course. She loved the dress because of the glittery stuff. But... she wanted to wear her flip flops (Dora) with it. She kept insisting on wearing them and Bill finally said, "Let her wear them." OMG! I told him that she was not wearing that dress with flip flops and told him to use some psychology on her and put the socks/shoes on her. What a night, g/f!!! She was not herself. And no, she never ONCE mentioned that the dress was ITCHY. Go figure!!! I tell ya... it was fun to watch her at this party though and be amongst so many people. She would tell people that she was Cinderella and would pull her dress up from the sides. Hysterically funny for Bill and us. It was during the last 30 minutes that we were there that she got wild. Running all over the place. There was a hallway/entrace type of area right outside the party room and she would run back and forth (numerous times) and all we'd see would be a red flash of color. lol It was all worth it though... I am glad I went. ![]() Thanks, Kay. |
